Digital Marketing Coordinator

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will have a heavy Social Media and marketing focus for both clients and Alpha Media’s marketing endeavors. This position will involve managing Facebook campaigns, sponsored ads, and using social media from a marketing perspective. This person will use the Social Media platforms to design customized target audiences based on client goals. This role and duties will evolve as the digital and social media world changes to adapt to what will be most beneficial to Alpha Media and clients. 

The person in this position will be responsible for strategic planning and managing the entire product life-cycle for Alpha’s digital products, including overseeing regular updates for existing products as well as bringing innovative new products to market.

Responsibilities for this position may include: 

  • Strong, constantly up-to-date, understanding how to best utilize social media marketing capabilities along with implementing various tactics to best serve individualized client and internal campaigns
  • Launch, review and monitor Facebook campaigns within Facebook Ads Manager daily to ensure targeted performance – includes preparation of campaign analytics
  • Time spent weekly to learn and effectively implement new Facebook and other social media capabilities
  • Create and optimize landing pages custom designed per campaign
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and monitoring success
  • Assist with coordinating internal content marketing campaigns as needed
  • Meeting with clients to discuss execution and goals of campaigns
  • Completing campaign analytic metrics for social media and digital campaigns for all active clients on a monthly basis as needed
  • Assisting with web builds as needed
  • Executing Facebook Content Management (Facebook posts and boosted posts) for clients 
  • Executing Google AdWords campaigns (PPC & Targeted Display) 
  • Google AdWords and HubSpot Certifications preferred but not required

Preference may be given to candidates who have the above experience plus the following:

  • Previous experience in broadcast media.
  • Knowledge of evolving social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and Interactive tools/products.
  • Google AdWords and/or HubSpot Certifications
  • Experience working in a team environment working closely with clients and co-workers.
  • History of overseeing the daily operation of social media campaigns.
  • Deep experience managing websites using and training others on content management systems.
  • Proven ability to dive deep in understanding the product, business, and the competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills, the ability to use hard data and metrics to develop business cases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience dealing with constantly evolving deadlines in an ever-changing landscape.
